 | On Sunday 24th of June, the Cafeteria at Campus A was converted into a worship room. Workers and children from Irente School for the Blind, Irente Rainbow School and Irente Children's Home came together in order to give thanks to God for SEKUCo. Also students from Vuga Bible School and some Magamba congregants participated. The official thanksgiving service for the whole diocese will be held in mid-July. On that day, representatives from congregations and institutions of the whole diocese will come together at SEKUCo.

| A total of 110 had been invited.
| | Rev. Godfrey Walalaze led the service. |  |  | A Ngonjera was chanted by the pupils from Irente School for the Blind.
| Halima from Irente Rainbow School and Iddi from Irente Children's Home were responsible caretakers of the day's collection.
|  |  | The Intercession was led by leaders from the named institutions of Irente as well as other service participants. The intercession was interwoven with candle-lighting.
| | After the service the participants gathered before the main Building and the Evangelists from Vuga Bible Camp sang: |  | Utukufu ni wa Mungu juu!
