26th June 2004 wasn’t a mean day.

It found two of NED’s staff, Rev. Amasiah Kaoneka and Mr. Yohana Madeni kicking away bachelorhood for life.

Mr. Madeni (32) is the NED Bishop’s chauffeur, working at the head office while Rev. Kaoneka (35) is Parish Pastor for Hale Parish, Plains District.

Rev. Kaoneka’s wedding was held at his parish church, led by Bishop Dr. Stephen Munga and attended by NED’s top officials, fellow pastors and many others. He is married to a Miss Martha.

While the wave of joy was hitting the Hale Parish, Madeni was vowing his promise on the Lushoto Cathedral altar, wedding to Miss Elizabeth Kaniki (24), previously working at the Bishop’s Chattilon Residence.

Both events were followed by colourful cerebrations afterwards, attended by a good number of relatives, friends and other well wishers.

Congratulations Amasiah, Martha, Yohana and Elizabeth!!
