Rev. Michael Kanju has been appointed to be the new diocesan Stewardship Secretary (Coordinator).

On its 2nd meeting on 30-31 January 2004 at Utondolo, Lushoto, the Diocesan Executive Council appointed Rev. Kanju to succeed Rev. Michael Gondwe.

Rev. Kanju has formerly been Chaplain of the ELCT Lutheran Junior Seminary at Morogoro, from 1994 to 2000 when he was elected to be Tambarare (Plains) District Pastor during the 2001 General Assembly.

The diocesan leadership and the head office staff wish Rev. Kanju all the best in his new career.
