On 13th July 2008 Bishop Dr. Stephen Munga led Pastors from the North Eastern Diocese to ordained three Pastors and installed our Deacons. The pastors ordained are Rev. Warehema Chamshama, Rev. Allan Mahimbo and Rev. William Karata. And Deacons ordained are Charles Nguvu, Frank Hoza, Samweli Mdoe and Zakayo Yohana.

The ceremony was attended by multitude of people to witness the ordination and installation of the Pastors and Deacons. The service was coloured by the Cathedral Choirs and Choirs from Tanga, Kana, Ntiku and Malibwi.

Pastors ordination was followed by installation of four deacons. The diocese has decided to install deacons due to shortage of pastors in the diocese is expanding with great needs of pastors.  Installation of Pastors was followed by installation of pastors wives. The occasion that was conducted by the Principal Dean Rev. Mwamboza. During the service Pastors and Deacons had opportunity to practices some works such as preaching and others did baptisms.
