The Planning Workshop Scheduled for 16th – 18th November 2005 was a
great success and blessing. About 40 participants took part in the
Workshop representing Districts, Institutions, Directorates and
Departments. Those three days were of hard work whereby the
Participants were actively engaged in the planning procedures. Initial
stage of developing planning guidelines took half of the time while the
Development of Strategic Plan itself took the rest. We are happy for
this major achievement.

| Our hope is that the
process will continue as planned and agreed upon by participants that
those plans should not remain locked in our file cabinets. We also hope
that preparations for the use of the plans next year will start soon.
The earlier the preparations the easier it will be for the plans to be
followed or implemented.

| Here we want to
thank all the Participants and the Facilitators CESAC from Arusha for
good work. We also thank the UEM for their support for this Workshop.
