| On 11th August 2005 the NED received a group of 20 people from the
SEPAS (South Eastern Pennsylvania Synod). This was a long time planned
visit between the two companion churches. The delegation is led by Ms.
Joanne Carlson who is assistant to Bishop Roy Almquist. The Bishop
couldn’t come with the group due to some unavoidable circumstances.
However, the Bishop is expected to visit the NED in the future as it
will be planned. |

| The NED is very happy to receive the delegation which is the first of
its kind. There is all indication that the delegation has come and has
well managed to strengthen the companionship. It is our hope that our
guest will enjoy their stay within our Diocese. We are sure they are at
home within our Diocese. |
