| ... but the struggle continues | It is worth being satisfied and thanking God for the long waited
Charity Dinner that took place on Friday, 29-07-2005. Satisfaction and
thanks giving are not worth on the basis of having had a colourful
evening with a good dinner. As a matter of fact eating and drinking was
not the main purpose of the whole arrangement but money for the
BIFED.

| Reflecting back on the event of that day there are two major achievements that need to be uplifted. First,
we are happy that the day itself and those days before and after were
the best opportunity for using the mass media to advertise the BIFED.
However, this story will not be close to exactness if we will not
confess that the dinner evening itself was adequately covered by mass
media. For us what is important is not that the name BIFED had been
mentioned again and again in the mass media, rather that there has been
a growing understanding and awareness about what BIFED is about. This
is a positive achievement. | | Secondly, there is an obvious social factor which was scored.
Bringing people together under one roof, united in purpose and working
collectively together towards that one/common goal, is another big
score. Those who gathered under the roof of the New Safari Hotel
represented all others around the world united under one purpose of
making the BIFED a success. | Lastly we thank you all who have sent in your donations. We want
to tell you that this year’s collection has been a success. Donations
are still coming in and we therefore encourage you to do so. We want to
tell you that next Sunday 07-08-05 is a special collection day for the
BIFED within our congregations. All these activities indicate that the
struggle continues. Donations for the BIFED is an ongoing activities.
We hope that the final report of these collections will soon be
available. Thanks again for your contributions.
