Misunderstand is inevitable to the people who live together, and
are mostly coursed by differences in cultures, beliefs as well as
personal character. But the very important thing is forgiving each
other, learn to know each other and try to find ways to live together
in peaceful way.
The head of North Eastern Diocese, Bishop Dr. Stephen Munga
said these words when he was giving out speech, during a fair-well
party carried out at Utondolo, Lushoto on Thursday 04/03/05 for two
workers from Germany who has finished their service in the North
Eastern Diocese.
Utondo hall was full of people from ELCT- NED head office who wore
faces showing obvious sorrow as they say ‘byeee!!!!’ to the fellow
workers,
Marcus Piehl and Urike Glaeser, who are supposed to go
back home in a few days to come. In the same hall there was a very nice
choir, which was singing during the fair-well party.
However, those workers who have to leave are; the missionary Marcus Piehl and his family who was sent by Bavaria Mission
to work as student pastor in our Diocese for four years. However due to
unavoidable circumstances, the Piehls only spent a year and a half of
their work.
Ulrike Glaeser was sent in by the United Evangelical Mission to work as consultant to the Irente RainBow School since past six months.
