Northern District with its headquarters in Mlalo is under supervision by Rev. Gideon Ngotonyingi.

This church District spans the Government Administrative districts of Lushoto. In the North the country of Kenya borders it. In the South and East sides, it is bordered by the �Jimbo la Kusini� (the Southern Church District).

There are 70 sub parishes and among them are 43 churches (buildings), ranging from small chapels to big ones like that of Mlalo parish. In addition to churches there are some other parish buildings. Most of the other houses are quite old and directly in need of constant renovation.
