Southern District with it's headquarters in Soni is under the supervision by Rev. Yohana Titu.

This Church District spans the Government Administrative districts of Lushoto and Korogwe. In the North it is bordered by "Jimbo la Kaskazini" (the Northern Church District.). In the West South and East sides, it is bordered by the "Jimbo la Tambarare" (the Lowland Church District).

There are 72 prayer houses, ranging from small chapels to one big modern Cathedral in Lushoto Parish. In addition to the prayer houses, there are some other 39-parish buildings. Except for the Cathedral, most of the other houses are quite old and direly in need of constant repair and maintenance.
