The ELCT-NED/Germany Partnership Consultation ended up with a great success. The Consultation, held at the Lushoto Cathedral from 7th - 10th August 2003, aimed at bringing together the partners from Tanzania and Germany.

It unified members from congregations that have bilateral relationship as well as institutions from both ends. The intention of the consultation, as stated before, was to intensify the existing bonds between the said partners from both ends. This has been met through transparent discussion, evaluation of success and failures and setting of new goals towards a better future for the relationship.

The process was channeled through comprehensive decision focused on four major areas of discussion namely

1. Mission and Evangelism
2. Projects and Money
3. Communication and Conflicts and 
4. The churches Responsibility to be a Prophetic voice to society.

The historical event was closed on Sunday 10th with a service attended by all participants in the Lushoto Cathedral.
